03/17: MBA sent the House and Senate Appropriations Committee Chairs and Ranking Members letters requesting additional funding for the Rural Housing Service (RHS) Section 502 Single Family Housing Guaranteed Loan Program so it would continue through the end of the current fiscal year. The popularity of the RHS Guaranteed Loan Program has increased dramatically over the last few years with the demise of subprime lending, but its funding has not risen. Read the Senate letter.
